Run into this company out of Israel at last weeks CTIA Wireless show in Vegas. For large enterprises that need more kick than our current in-building cellular repeater solutions these guys offer a rack mountable distributed amplifier system with smart RF control, modularity and centralized control.
This requires somewhat complex RF Engineering design to setup the most optimal system based on building properties, cellular spectrum available, RSSI measurements. Furthermore if a high speed low latency Internet backhaul source is available (as with most buildings that have T1 or better) the tradeoff between Cellular repeaters and Picocells (or multiple femtocells) is not straight forward especially now with rapidly decreasing HW costs.
