External antenna to ceiling antenna?

I was curious if you could connect an external antenna to a ceiling mount antenna? I don't want to have to spend the money on the amplifier if I don't really need to. If someone could answer this question for me that would be great, thanks.

Unfortunately this will not work at all. You have to have an amplifier connected. So the external antenna would connect to the amplifier, then the amplifier would connect to the dome antenna. This is a great solution, you will get between 50 and 60db of gain. It is well worth the money. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.
