Connecting dome antenna to a phone?

I need to get just a little bit more of a signal in my house for my cell phone. I saw that there are some dome antennas that I coul connect directly to my phone. Will that work for what I need? I don't want to spent too much money because I only need to get a little bit more of a signal.

This is possible. You may get a little gain, but chances are you probably won't. There is a much better solution, and it's a little bit cheaper. You can get a glass mount antenna that will adhere to a window and directly connect to a phone or an air card. Also remember that you will need the correct adapter to connect from the antenna to the phone/air-card.
