cpei 725 locked ?

hi ,
can I use the CPEI 725 on other wimax networks than clear ,its definitely a 2.5-2.7ghz network ?
the modems our wimax provider sells ,simply suck... and expensive.
and is there anything else i need to know ?

Probably not. What network are you thinking of? In the U.S almost all commercial wimax networks are powered by Clearwire anyway e.g. Sprint, so if want to move for radio/network performance this would not do you much good anyway. Plus in our experience modems rarely influence much these days (true there are some modems that are not the best but so many modems use the same chipsets anyway that they are virtually identical despite their branding or form factors).
