#1I have tested antenna adpaters on the Option GlobeSurfer III and found that the Wilson 359917 and the Dyna-Boost IAC067 adapters work.

#2External Antenna for the Option Globesurfer III
The Wilson Antenna Adapter is FME-Male and the Dynaboost Adapter is TNC-Male so you need to select the appropriate antenna FME-Female or TNC-Female antenna here or add a second adapter to convert N-Female antennas.
Note also that you will have to determine what frequecy band your GSM carrier is operating at which you can do by calling up your carrier or checking www.wirelessadvisor.com
