Here is a link for the F.A.Q related to the Kyocera KR1 mobile router. This is the D-Link support site (Kyocera partnered with D-Link for this router) and it also has information on field firmware upgrades.

Contact an RfWeL Wireless Support Specialist if you don't see your question answered here or for any clarifications.

Other evdo routers?

Does anyone know of any other evdo routers out there. I know the KR1 is one of the best on the market right now, just curious if anything has come out since that one.

Not sure it if works and would like to know Tried it. It doesn't work. The recommended revA aircard is the Novatel merlin s720 and this too might require a firmware upgrade to get the speed up (only update the Kyocera KR1 Mobile router with the Merlin s720 firmware if you have any performance issues) : KR1 Mobile Router Firmware Version 1.008
