#1I have an old Johnson Control thermostat that I would like to replace with another which I can control using my mobile phone. What are the best options for me?

#2Based on the thermostat that you have as well as the requirement for the replacement, below are thermostats that you can consider as the best fit for this application.
1\. _Ecobee4 EB-STATE4P-01, Voice-Enabled Smart Wi-Fi Thermostat_
Control can be through the 3.5 full-color touch touchscreen or the Ecobee App available in Amazon, App Store, and Google Play Store. It has an inbuilt Alexa-voice service where functions can be set through voice.
2\. _Bosch 8-733-948-009 Connected Control BCC100 Wi-Fi Thermostat_
It has a 5-inch Touch Screen for control together with the Bosch Connected Control App downloaded from App Store or Google Play Store
3. _Trane XL824 Programmable Comfort Control Wi-Fi Thermostat_
Control can be through the 4.3-inch touchscreen or the Nexia App. XL824 has an inbuilt Nexia Bridge hence no need for an add-on.
From the variety of Wi-Fi thermostats, here are those that can as well be controlled through phone apps.
