I've been deliberating on getting a mini-split preferably by Mitsubishi and was wondering if there is a way to connect with a Nest thermostat. Could Mitsubishi PAC-US444CN-1 (https://shop.rfwel.com/mitsubishi-pa...ter-interface/) Thermostat Adapter be an option?

Yes, this option is worthwhile. Apparently, Nest is among the thermostats that have already been tested to work with Mitsubishi PAC-US444CN-1 thermostat interface.

I'm trying to replace my old thermostat controlling my Mitsubishi heat pump system to Honeywell TH9320WF5003 Wi-Fi 9000 Thermostat https://shop.rfwel.com/honeywell-wi-...en-thermostat/ . However, my challenge is in connecting the Third party thermostat interface adapter (PAC-US444CN-1) and the TH9320WF5003 wi-fi 9000 thermostat to the indoor unit. I'm not quite sure if the PAC-US444CN-1 (https://shop.rfwel.com/mitsubishi-pa...ter-interface/) adapter works or there is special wiring connection required. Any insight on this?

The PAC-US444CN-1 Thermostat Interface adapter will work for Honeywell Wi-Fi 9000 Color Touchscreen Thermostat (TH9320WF5003). The setup uses a 24VAC transformer such as VPL24-210 which is a required accessory for the Thermostat interface adapter. Label each wire connected to the old thermostat prior to connecting the replacement unit. This is key in interpreting the wiring connections for both the Mitsubishi thermostat interface adapter and the new Honeywell Wi-Fi 9000 thermostat.

For clarity on terminal designations refer to the diagram below or on pages 3 and 4 of the PAC-US444CN-1 installation manual (depending on your application i.e. 3H/2C or 2H/2C stages) and on page 3 of the TH9320WF5003 Thermostat installation guide.
