I am trying to figure out the difference between E22P88426 (link) and U01A05426- MS16A (link). Looks like they are both identical and should work with my MSZ-HM-18NA-U1 according to the compatibility chart. Please help make this clear.

Mitsubishi Electric remotes are unit-specific. E22P88426 and U01A05426 are made for different units despite the fact that they look identical.

The E22P88426 works for the MSZ-HM18NA-U1 and MSZ-HM24NA-U1 models.

E22P88426 Compatibility

The U01A05426 works for the MSZ-HM09NA-U1, MSZ-HM12NA-U1 and MSZ-HM15NA-U1 units.

U01A05426 Compatibility

Here are other Mitsubishi Electric remote controllers compatible with other indoor units.
