How do I pair my Mitsubishi Electric KM08C Replacement remote (link) to my #MSZ-12FENA Mr Slim unit?

To be able to pair KM08C to your unit, proceed as follows:

  1. Insert the batteries and align them in the correct polarities.
  2. Slide the cover down to view the small button for clock.

KM08C CLK

  1. Press the clock button and then press the time button to set the time (The remote works just as fine if you skip the step anyway) using arrows to change the numbers.
  2. Press clock again
  3. Turn on your remote and point it at the indoor unit. At this point, you should hear a beep.

Observe to see any lights flashing on your indoor unit. The indicator lights should be on implying that the unit is on.
