Options to improve signal: (1) Replace the device — different radios have different receiver sensitivity. (2) Relocate the device — convert cellular to WiFi/900MHz for indoor distribution using a router such as a Cradlepoint Router. (3) Add high gain antennas — directional preferred for weak signals, keep cables short (50 ohm). (4) Add RF bidirectional amplifiers (direct connect or repeaters). (5) Use a Generic Access Network (GAN) system such as UMA or femtocell.
