#2iDEN works at 800MHz SMR spectrum, different from PCS/CDMA. Difficult to predict RF signal propagation. Get RSS in dBm, add amplifier gain, and subtract cable/antenna losses. Range depends on topology, weather, obstacles, and multi-user interference.
