#1Extending WiFi range involves tradeoffs: cost, interferers, obstructions, ease of deployment. A sub-500ft link can use a high gain 2.4 GHz antenna and long range USB adapter. A 2.4 GHz amplifier may not be needed and could exceed FCC limits. Consider PTP bridges for longer links.
