  • Will Globetrotter III router work in 3G on T-Moible US network

Specs indicated router operates on AWS band. Does this mean it will do 3G on T-Mobile US network? Does anyone have experience with this?

Option globesurfer III T-mobile AWS support

Wouldn't that be sweet Unfortunately the version that we have on sale here only supports 850/900/1800/1900.

The embedded UMTS/HSxPA module does support UMTS-FDD Band IV 1712.4 MHz
to 1752.6 MHz -channel 1312 to 1513 as wel as the IMT 2100 MHz band.(check out the fcc report here).

Interestingly over the winter we were testing an EMEA version that had W-CDMA2100 enabled and for a while we thought that was the AWS1700/2100 but it never did work with T-mobile. We later found out this was IMT Band1 1900/2100.

Will update this post if we figure out different about t-mobile compatibility.
