Has anyone tried using the new sprint pantech PX-500 aircard with the KR1. Not sure it if works and would like to know

Tried it. It doesn't work. The recommended revA aircard is the Novatel merlin s720 and this too might require a firmware upgrade to get the speed up (only update the Kyocera KR1 Mobile router with the Merlin s720 firmware if you have any performance issues) : KR1 Mobile Router Firmware Version 1.008

ZTE BAVO Home Gateway Mobile Router

Does anyone know of any other evdo routers out there. I know the KR1 is one of the best on the market right now, just curious if anything has come out since that one.
