Last week at CTIA Wireless VZW CTO Tony Melone confirmed Verizon Wireless will start offering Femtocell hardware and service plans by end of year. This plus the fact that Samsungs Ubicell femtocell product won best of CTIA award for the 2nd year in a row is a true testament to just how hot these access point base stations offerings will be in the coming few years. Hopefully this will cost the same or cheaper than the $50 unit cost and $15 a month for Sprints Airave Ubicell femtocells. Stay tuned!
