The MP 595 GPS includes an embedded, high performance 12 Channel Trimble GPS module. With the Trimble GPS module, users can expect accurate reporting of position and velocity with ultra-low power consumption. In addition, the module determines positional fi x in just forty seconds in the case of a cold start.
The MP 595 GPS provides in-vehicle data solutions while operating over CDMA EVDO Revision A networks with peak download data rates of 3.1 Mbps. To accommodate areas where such coverage is not yet available, the MP 595 GPS is backwards compatible to EV-DO Release 0, 1x and IS95-A networks. A 12-channel GPS module and 4 digital & 4 analog input/output ports are also offered to allow for advanced tracking and alarms.
