The T-Mobile webConnect USB Laptop Stick is really a Huawei's UMG181 USB modem. The UMG181 USB data modem is compatible with HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM and is dual mode 8 BAND capable (including the 1700MHz AWS frequency band):
WCDMA frequency is Band Ⅰ, Band Ⅱ, Band Ⅳ and Band
Ⅴ (Band I & III are for Europe and Asia - not used in N. America).
The GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequency band is the typical GSM850, EGSM900, DCS1800 and PCS1900 (of course only the GSM850 and PCS1900 is used in the U.S).
Also has a Micro SD card interface (8G max installable memory) and an external antenna interface - see here for antenna adapter.
