hi having a problem with my sierra 860. it's blinking red when inserted in the mb6000 - help

AirCard 7xx and 8x0 LED status indicators

LED Indicates
Solid amber: The AirCard is powering up.
Flashing amber: The AirCard is searching for a channel.
Solid green: A voice call is in progress.
Flashing green: The AirCard has acquired a channel and is in idle mode.
Solid red: An error has occurred.

Check the connection between the Aircard and the MB6000 PCMCIA slot.
