Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems are relied upon to keep the home homely no matter how extreme the weather gets. With new smart HVAC systems, homeowners have the power to manage the units from any place virtually through a secure internet connection with the help of their mobile phone or tablet. This can help reduce energy wastage and thus saving money in cases where one may have left the air conditioner running when they have left home. Different brands have different interfaces that connect the indoor unit to the Wi-Fi networks or facilitate internet connection for remote operations over the phone or tablet. To do this, some even involve the use of mobile applications. Different brands support a variety of indoor units.
